Bottle Brush Flowers
Flowers

Available

Aptly named as it's just like a bottle brush, little red fibres and quite a pretty flower head.

The bottlebrush belongs to the Callistemon genus of shrubs in the Myrtle (Myrtaceae) family. Bottlebrush trees are a close relative of the Melaleuca (such as honey myrtle); it is extremely difficult to distinguish between the two.

The bottlebrush gets its name from the shape of its flowers, which look like long, cylindrical brushes with spiky bristles. The bottlebrush flowers, which can be brightly colored and are often red, bloom during the early summer.
