The majority of lambs are born without any assistance, and within minutes of hitting the straw are up on their wobbly legs instinctively seeking the ewe’s teat! Some are a little slower and this can depend on breed, as well as how easily they have entered the world - while others just don’t seem to get going under their own steam!
