An image of a Rhinoeros beetle that was taken in southern Spain. Rhinoceros beetles can grow up to 6 inches, making them some of the largest beetles around.

The Rhinoceros Beetle (or Rhino Beetle) belongs to the subfamily (Dynastinae) and is part of the family of scarab beetles (Scarabaeidae).

Rhinoceros Beetles are among the largest of beetles in the world. The Rhinoceros Beetle is aptly named because it has horns on its head, very much like the rhinoceros does. The male Rhinoceros Beetles use their horns in mating battles against other males.

Flowers
Here is a selection of flowers from around the world through the lens.
