A toad in the hole, not the dish as in food but in a water pipe.

Common toads prefer deeper water bodies in which to breed. These may include farm ponds, reservoirs, fish ponds or village duck ponds, or even water pipes it seems.

Common toads can grow to 8cm, and are generally brown or olive-brown. The skin is ‘warty’ and often appears dry. Glands in the skin contain powerful toxins and many would-be predators learn to avoid eating toads.

Black and white photos are often seen as “timeless,” and many photographers and viewers tend to think of them more artistic than their more popular color counterparts. A black and white image has a surreal and almost dreamlike quality, too;
Flowers
Here is a selection of flowers from around the world through the lens.
